Joint Operational Capacity Analysis Based on Temporal-Spatial Control Effectiveness Measures

With the insights into the intrinsic result or effectiveness of the deployment and employment of military force, it is believed the assurance to control certain spatial area within a range of time is one of the most important effect besides the impact on politics, economics and manpower. Hence, a novel concept named spatial-temporal control measures is introduced to evaluate the overall performance of a joint operational force, and the mathematical model is developed and evaluated by simulated experiments. In compare to either qualitative and quantitative analyses on firepower, maneuver, reconnaissance & surveillance, or certain integrated indices, It shows the new measures is more straightforward and convenient to integrating different capacity indices,moreover,is easier to aggregate.
