Research on Analytical Method of Homing Torpedo Discovery Probability Based on Error Fusion

To solve the problem of difficulty in real-time calculation of the discovery probability of homing torpedoes, the paper establishes an analytical method model of homing torpedo discovery probability based on error fusion. Taking a certain type of torpedo as an example, combined with the Monte Carlo method, the correctness and feasibility of the method model is verified. In addition, the effects of torpedo speed, enemy string angle and distance between torpedo targets on the probability of torpedo discovery are analyzed as well. The simulation results show that the discovery probability of homing torpedoes increases as the speed increases and the distance decreases. Besides, the discovery probability of acoustic homing torpedoes decreases first and slowly increases while the discovery probability of wake homing torpedoes increases first and then decreases slowly as the enemy string angle increases.
