Analysis Method of Projectile Launching Strength Under Variable Bore Pressure Based on ANSYS Workbench

In view of the diversity of analysis methods of projectile launching strength, a new method of projectile strength analysis considering resistance effect under variable bore pressure is proposed. Taking the launching strength analysis of a concave projectile as an example, Matlab and ANSYS Workbench are applied. The simulation results show that the maximum equivalent stress and equivalent elastic strain of the projectile are not directly proportional to the change of chamber pressure, and there are some waves in the process of launching. The method proposed in this paper can provide a new way for the analysis of the launch intensity of the projectile.
